I was one of rare few that worked with Sandy at both Scott's and Girl Scouts. In fact, when I left Scott's for Girl Scouts, she joined as a leader, then a trainer and eventually started working at the office. I remember sharing an office with her for awhile, as well as many, many, many conversations about Girl Scouts, life, etc. When at Scott's, Sandy would call me in the back to let me know my husband (then boyfriend/fiance) was there because he always stopped at the bakery for a snack. My husband still calls her the "bakery lady" to this day. Sandy was a precious person and I will never, ever forget her! Ruth (Marquart) Strawser
